100,000 Proponents vs. 200 Deniers

Evolution Wins!

This is the consensus of the scientific community! In response to the creationists' list of 200 scientists who oppose evolution, The National Center for Science Education produced a list of 200 Scientists named Steve or Stephanie who are in favor of evolution in 2003.

Today that list has grown to 1000 Steves and Stephanies that agree on the validity of Evolutionary Theory. This was published in Scientific American's article entitled, "Count On Steves to Defend Darwin." Considering that people named Steve make up one percent of the population, we have around one hundred thousand scientists who accept evolution. That sounds like a consensus to me!

I tried to search for your blog on Live Search and nothing came up. Just something about webring. You should add your blog to that search engine so you get more traffic.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have just added my blog to their webcrawler. Hopefully within a few days a direct link to my site will be on their database. As for webring, S4L (Skeptics 4 Life) is a member in a series of "webring communities".

Webring describes themselves as "a pioneer in social networking." It allows you to search tens of thousands of blogs by subject. I would suggest checking it out.

Thanks again for your help in broadening our presence on the internet.
